Harder to steer after 1''BL?

Just install a body lift on my runner, but the steering feels a bit harder. I can still drive my runner but It is for sure more firmer. I don't know if this is normal and would like to see if any of you have notice this change after the install. I called toytech and told them that I was going to loosen the nut on the steering shaft and then adjust it. Maybe with the steering shaft extension it is creating to much pressure?? Don't know but will try. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you were supposed to loosen the adjusting nut before lifting the body, if you didn't you may have damaged something

I loosen the 2 nuts on the actual steering shaft where the spacer was placed. I was reffering to the single nut that is above the spacer about 10 inches above. I did not get instructions so I don't know if i had to do anything with that.

the nut I'm talking about is one nut on a clamp sort of thing, that allows the splined side to slide in and out of the clamp, to adjust for length. If this was still tight when you lifted the body, it would be pulling down on it.

you'll see the splined section inserted into the reciever section with a bolt on the clamp type thing...that's gotta get loosened

Fixed the problem went outside grab a 12mm wrench loosen the nut and then tighten it. Steering is back to normal.
