Harness for HU replacment JBL

I'm replacing my JBL HU in my 2006 4runner.

What harness do you recommend to keep the existing factory JBL digital amp? I'm looking at the Metra TYTO-01 or the PAC TATO. What's the difference between the two? I just want one with the least noise interference.

I tried search this this, but I could not determine the difference between the two.

I'm installing Alpine's new Double din. IVAW407. There no cd or dvd player on it. Its based only on USB or Ipod

i use the metra harness and i have not had a problem with noise interference since i have been using it. i have not tried the pac harness but i have a friend that had one on his nissan and says the same thing. i went with the metra version only because it was the cheaper of the two at the time i was buying.

Look into the metra-- um I forget which one -- 70 8112 or 70 8113. They are old school lexus amplifier harnesses. Also used in amplified Toyotas if you wanna keep the jbl amp going. I would recommend that. Especially if it working well still. Otherwise you wont have the subwoofer if you bypass the amp completely. Rca's will plug right into the new harness so you don't double amplify. I don't know what the new tyto-01 harness does that is so special. It gives you adjustable gains. That may be it. Unless it gives you ignition or something. A lot of new cars don't have a good ignition wire at the radio. But, my guess is, which ever one it is that is the same shape plug-- i forget, either 70 8112 or 70 8113 that will probably work great and cost a whole lot less money!!! Also, check into the AI twh-17. That is american international twh-17. Very good price. Check it against your wire harness and the one on the tyto-01. The same no?
