Has anyone built a new body style GX?

I owned a 08 4Runner.

Since then I have had a tundra, and now a 2015 F150 Platinum that I really enjoy, but I want to build more of an overland style vehicle. I’d really like something smaller than the F150 or even the Land Cruiser for tighter trails. That brings me to a 4Runner.

I really enjoy the creature comforts in my F150, so I started considering the GX. It seems like the perfect overland vehicle due to its size, full time 4wd and of course the V8. I think I’d have to add lockers...

My main concern is the approach and departure angles as it sits, but I’m sure there aren’t many off the shelf options for lifts and bumpers.

Has anyone seen a good looking build for the new style grill on the GX? Or should I just keep my F150, or get a 200 series Land Cruiser?

I'd guess you can figure it out with Prado stuff. Maybe take a look at what this guy is doing?

I could have sworn this was the 5th gen section.

Or did i stumble upon the 4th gen/tundra/f 150/gx/land cruiser section?
