I just bought a full length roof rack. Has anyone reinforced their roof like this guy or done something different?

When i built my rack i moved my mounting legs out to just inside the roof drip rail, drilled through and used two nuts and bolts through the roof with a peice of cap tape foam between the leg and roof. Only problem i have is wind noise on the highway if the sunroof is opened.

I built a full length rack and replaced the stock rails with full length ones. I actually used that link as inspiration for my project. I did basically the same thing that guy did where the stock rails were and then added another piece and three more bolts per side in the front since I don't have a sunroof. I think the project turned out great, and I use my rack all the time with no complaints.
