It's some port installed garbage from southeast Toyota, not the actual TE hoods.

Mother of God, is there no end to the junk SE Toyota (and Gulf States Toyota) will do to these vehicles? Between Tundra TSS models, T-Force 4Runners and now this, I can't take it any more.

Apparently the Southeast Toyota dealers made up a "Special" edition called the XSP-X. Looks a bit tacky but to each their own. The guy in the video says 8 passenger capacity! Maybe if they're very small children.

Yeah, to each their own, but that XSP-X 4Runner can go f#%k it's own face. God that's hideous. Don't people know they can buy all that stick on crap themselves and save a ton of money over having the port/dealer do it?

That is a sad waste of a perfectly good 4runner. I snub my non functioning TE hood scoop having nose at that even more useless tacked on non functioning hood scoop. Has anyone here actually seen this XSP on the road?

But assuming it's like every other XSP, yes we have them all over AL. They're typically just SR5's without the badge, and come with some blacked out 18's, a chrome grille insert, and blacked out Toyota and XSP logos. I haven't noticed the exceptionally tacky hood scoop though.

I don't know if they still do them. When I was buying mine in Florida, they had the plastic scoop on the fifth generation pre-facelift models.
I didn't see a single one that was installed properly, straight, or even remotely looked appealing.
Looks like the fix is to mechanically attach it?
I don't know if I want Bubba and Bocephus drilling my hood to put on a $20 piece of Vato Zone plastic.
The only thing remotely appealing about that ridiculously overpriced package was that the seat covers they used had some really soft leather/fake leather. Only problem it came with that idiotic logo.

I saw one yesterday in Honolulu, HI. I thought the guy just bought and stuck on some random XSP emblems. I meant to google the package when i got home to see if it was a real. I guess I know the answer now.
