Has anyone replaced their wipers?

I'm not talking about the blades. Those are a pain in the butt to put on. I'm asking about the arm that holds the blades. Seems like my OEM ones are weak. Winter is coming and i don't want to see them break easily like a toothpick.

I replaced my wipers with a set of Bosch icon blades. I see no reason to replace the arms as I can't imagine a heavy duty version that would somehow out last the dinky motor that is moving the arms.

These Bosch blades seem to do the trick for me, but to be honest we don't get a ton of snow in dallas.

I purchased my 06 runner a year ago, but some Rain-X blades on there. The stock arm was strong enough to make it through a Michigan winter with no issues.

I stick with the factory wiper refills, 8 bucks for both the left and right. They last pretty well through new england winters..
