Our Limited will be paid off in about one year. After getting the sr5 4runner I realize how bad the Limited rides in the city. We are considering trading or selling it but I really like the all time 4wd for her. It only gas 24k and is 2015. I agree, potholes bad, highway good.



I am sure we will keep it, though. One less car payment.

Just upgrade your suspension and you will save a lot of money by doing that instead of trading it in.

Why don't you just change out the suspension? Cheaper than a new truck. How many miles do you have on the 4R Ltd?

24k, thinking about that but that is her truck. That would be a difficult sell. If she was serious about trading I would push the change. It is nice with no issues so why push the luck.

So it's easier sell her on trading in a vehicle and get into another car payment than to replace the suspension? At the end of the day it's your car, your money but I just don't see how swapping cars is a better decision than to just change the suspension since as you said it's a nice vehicle with no issues.

Me neither but since she heard some 4runners have. Third row. We dont need it. I did tell her I dont want the payment. I totally agree with you.

You sure about the tax? At least in CA, you only pay tax on what you pay for the new car outside of, or minus the trade in value. So if your trade is high value you pay less tax.
