Has anyone tried NeverWet?

Messed around with this stuff over the weekend. Wound up applying it to the bottom of a skim board. works as advertised. Then I rode the skim board while being pulled behind the boat. board came out of the water dry as a bone.

Keep Salt water off?

I drive on Carova beach a lot when I'm down in the outer banks, and there are always areas of Carova I can't get to b/c it would involve me driving through salt water. If I sprayed this on the undercarriage of my car, would it keep the salt off my car if I drove through water?

So i did a few things with the product I bought a few weeks ago. I did a very rare pair of FJ Cruiser gloves, an envelope (for testing), and a windowsill in the bathroom.

NOTES:

As mentioned on the box, soap in this products Kriptonite. Especially soap with grease cutters in them.

After treated, you will be able to wipe off a white residue...the more you wipe off the less "slick" it is.

Dish Soap breaks the surface tension immediately and permanently on two items i tested.

This product can waterproof your skin (VERY WELL) so use rubber gloves.
