Ever tried putting a 295/70/17 tire with the 3/2 cornfed lift? I wanted to go 285/70/17, but that size is not available in the tire I want(Toyo M/T). they are both listed as 33 x 11.50 X 17. Just wondering if you can squeeze them under there with some trimming. Any help would be great! Jason?

The 285s can be hard to fit, with trimming. Your best bet is to do a search for the largest tire that has been fitted and look up the overall diameter/width from the OEM specs and compare them to the tire you want to put on.

No way a 295/70/17 MT will fit on a 4th gen. with only a cornfed lift even with significant trimming. I've run the cornfed lift and the biggest tire I would run would be a 285/70-17 AT. The BFG AT and Cooper STT still require trimming. Follow the link to see Crozhawk's mods to fit a true 33" Toyo MT.
