Hauling a car on a dolly

Does the car on the dolly must have registration? Insurance? Dolly must be registered?

I found a 02 camry with a bad head gasket. But it is at 70 miles away from me.

Can a 4runner haul this car that far without any issues? I have 3.4L 4x4 A/T with additional trans cooler?

The dolly has to have plates on it and lights. I dont think it matters for the car, I havent towed anything on a dolly in a while. The 4Runner will pull it just fine. I towed a 95 Acura Legend home on a flatbed trailer from an hour away. Just gotta be careful and give yourself extra room to stop.

Sad news! car is sold....

I was the first to call him last night and he said he will hold it for me. Called in the morning to set up a time and he said 10 people called after me and they are coming to see it. I have no time to go there before them. Seller called me and asked my offer, I said $800. After 20 mins he called me and said it is sold! Guess he ran an auction....

Never mind... I have a thing to do... wire the front fog lights in my 4runner and put an extra 12V outlet in the rear.

That kinda sucks that the deal fell thru. I buy and sell cars all the time and theres always people out there that'll sell the car out from under you for a couple extra dollars.

They're Enkei RT6's. I left the center caps out for now because they stuck out to far for me which defeats the whole idea of having a lower offset wheel with a nice lip. You can pick these wheels up for around $160 ea.

You know these deep dish wheels gives extra stability when cornering. Easy to clean and no need of spacers!

I have 16 inches and cannot find 16 with this design.

For future reference you can rent a car dolly from uhaul to haul a 4runner but you have to say your hauling something smaller like a Camry or they wont let you get the trailer.

You were probably better off NOT buying the car. The 2AZ-FE motors never "just" have a bad head gasket. The blocks have head bolt pull out problems, which ruins the block and requires a complete engine replacement. They also have a head crack issue. The engines are spendy are very hard to find in good shape, and most wreckers don't properly test for that sort of thing.
