Haunted Seat

... So not really. But my 2002 Limited has a somewhat unique issue going on. When i shut off the car and let it set for about an hour... maybe 3 or 4 percent of the time the seat will auto lean all the way back flat. The electronic switch does not work when i try it then, but after a pause and restarting the car, the seat works again.

This a common issue? or do i need a priest?

Only really worry is if it would do it while im driving. That could be a issue.

Its our own "Christine"!! LOL

Might be seat switch shorting out internally?
Maybe a power seat relay sticking??

just sounds like your switch is a little jacked... after all, it is 8 years old.

I'd try disassembling the switch and cleaning it up with some electrical contact cleaner but if that doesn't work then you may need a new one
