have no faceplate, wat to do?

i recently got a 1993. i has a radio, but has no faceplate and no antennae. i removed the screws on the radio in an attempt to pull it out, but i wasnt succsseful. i cant figure out how to get it out. idk if its stock or not, but it does have a CD slot. there is also a little compartment under the radio. wat to do?

Removable faceplate means "not stock". Just go buy something and have it installed, they'll get it out. Or buy one of the many stock stereos people pull out. I have a new stereo on the way if you want to buy an OEM 6 disk changer. Plug and play.

Check oemvalue.com, if you want a stock radio. A headunit from a 4th gen 4Runner will not fit into the opening of on your 2nd gen. That's what nice about the older Toyota, they were all ISO mounts and the majority of them did not require any dash kits. Just need to pull the factory radio and reuse the mounts and you're good to go, the sleeve wasn't even needed. The downside was it made it just as easy for a thief to steal your radio.

Sorry MLB, not trying to ruin your sale, but the 4th gen headunit has a very limited fitment... it will not even fit all 4th gen 4Runners because of the bezel.
