I got to ride in on of the first Broncos they built and I have a customer with the FJ. They are so expensive, but everything is hand made, most of it in house.
but i I were going to spend 122k like my customer, I would buy a trail teams T4R, a rally fighter, and a happy meal. IMO
but in person, these things are awesome..BTW they helped in the design of the FJ cruiser.

Thats interesting . . . that they helped with the fj design. Ive always loved those 1st gen broncos. Was it a pretty loud machine? The 44 with the corvette engine would be awesome.

Yes definitely nice. My friends cousin is about to buy one. Way too expensive, but for someone who wants it done right and doesn't want to put the time in to build something of that capability, well worth it. They are awesome. Especially if you're really rich LOL

Hand made? Really? Those are a joke for the rich guy who wants to own a classic and not get get his hands dirty. There building them illegally by switching vins and the fj tubs are not even fj tubs there that aluminum ones a guy has been making for years, I forget the guys name. You could build one of these with every part they have for less then 60k.

Yes but if your in the market for a 30+year old vehicle then expect to put blood sweat and tears into it. Heck if you watch jleno drive the icon bronco he wasn't really impressed, did the shoot more for publicity then liking the truck.

My brother just mentioned these ICON trucks to me the other day and I had no idea what he was talking about. They are indeed pricey, but I'm pretty sure the fit and finish is top notch.
These vehicles aren't for your general grease monkey mechanic. They are for the people who want a good looking mall crawler who believe that their vehicle is an indication of their status.
Will I ever want one even if I can afford it, sure! But I will never take it off road, why destroy a 120k rig?
