Never seen it operate in person, just seen the pics.

Cruthfield dosent really sell too much crap. And I believe they will warranty it for 1 year for free. If you were that concerned you could do the 3 year warranty for 85 dollars, and they exchange it no problem. Based on my dealings with them they have great customer service
