Have You Updated Your Firmware Lately?

I was having a lot of problems with my 2020 SR5-Premium dropping calls and clicking in and out.
The local Toyota Dealership wanted $179 to "look" at it. That's all they would say. 'eff those guys around here. They didn't even recommend I look for a firmware update on the Toyota site. I remembered reading about it on this site and did a search and wha-la I found I was 6 updates behind. Problem solved.

Update your firmware with what's free from Toyota here. You'll need a USB stick to get the job done.

Punched in my 2023 ORP (with navigation) into Toyota's update checker, no updates available. Don't know if Toyota fixed everything they wanted to by MY2023, or if late enough years (or with navi) get over-the-air updates.

I have referred to that site periodically for my 2019.

Every time, including today, for six years since new it says no update available for my vehicle.

Just updated my 2021 SR5. What was interesting in the Multimedia Extension Unit for Maps there is an update for blower motor. Hope it makes the AC blower move more air

I guess I should get in there again and see if there are recents updates
