Long story short I used to have a '95 T4R SR5 4wd 5spd. I got it for $1200 in 2004 because it had major body damage that wasn't easily fixed (rear quarter panels above the back tires). It had been ran off the highway a few years before, P.O. pocketed the insurance money and kept driving it. He finally wanted to sell it to start restoring a Datsun Z.
I kept it for a year and sold it. This marked the 2nd time I've regretted selling a car, the other an '87 Supra Turbo. Yes I think I have Toyota fever :biggrin2:
I got my '03 T4R Sport Edition in August and loving it as a daily driver. But I'm still itching to get another 2nd Gen to keep around as a backup and maybe teach myself a bit more mechanic skills. Would be nice to have a 4WD again in some situations.
