What do you make of this?

Did they alter the transmission at all? Seems bizarre that the fluid requirement would change so dramatically...

I vote for a misprint based on comparing apples to oranges. The lower value equals a pan drain only. The higher number is a complete fluid change IMHO.

Sounds likely. If that's the case, it's nice to have both numbers.

The trans didn't change after 05.
The V8 got the newer (sealed) trans in 2004, and the V6 got it in 2005.
