hazy plastic lens

hi, guys, recently bought a 2000 sr5. The interior was almost perfect, i think the owner had had it professionally detailed. i recently was cleaning it up and sprayed an alcohol-based window cleaner on the plastic lens that covers the speedometer and rpms and etc on the dash. it immediately hazed up in blotches. I was wondering if they maybe used armorall or something that reacted with the cleaner I used. I have tried rubbing (really hard) and rewetting the blotches, nothing helps. anyone have any experience with this? is there a chemical i can use to fix this? is it possible to buff this out somehow, or do I have to look for a new lens? It happened on the face of the digital clock too, and i can't even read what time it is now when it is bright out. any ideas are appreciated, thanks.

I had the same blotches on my old integra when I bought it. Go to your local auto parts store and pick up a bottle of Meguiar's Plast-X. Its only like 7 bucks and it works great, made the instrument lense crystal clear.

That stuff always work great with plastic. One of Meg good stuff. Dude can you post the pic of your dash after you use meg.
