HD Radio

I've been listening to some of the new HD Radio stations online in the Hampton Roads, VA area. There not bad. Good variety that isn't available on analog or satelite radio.

Has anyone installed a HD adapter yet into there 4Runner?

I'm looking at sony's XAVW1 DVD Receiver Monitor and XT-100HD Tuner HD Radio Add-On Tuner.

I just had a Dual XHD6425 head unit put in my 95 4runner. It replaced an old Sony aftermarket stereo. I was shocked at the clarity of the HD stations. It actually seems to produce better sound than CDs. I was also surprised to realize I didn't actually need new speakers after I put the unit in. Apparently the Sony was just a total piece of crap. Unfortunately for me, I don't really listen to much radio so I don't get to enjoy the HD stations too much. But, fortunately, the unit comes with a USB port, so I can plug in a 4GB flash drive and hit the random button and I can listen to my own music for days without hearing the same song twice.

There's a Visteon brand universal HD radio adapter being sold all over ebay (at least it was... have not checked). I bought it but did not install yet. It's under $40

I've got a Sony XAVA1 brand new in the box, dirt cheap if you are interested. Retail is $749. You can have it for $500 shipped.
