If any of you know to get the head off a 98 4runner 2.7 I would say get a chevy. Man what a job. Well I was wondering if there is anything I should do before I get the head back on. I was getting water in the #3 cyl and a crack in that part of the head with a valve gone. Not sure if the water was getting in from the gasket or not. The head gasket looks to be from Toyota. I can't say I was happy with that gasket and hate to use a toyota head gasket. I wonder if there could be a better one I should uses? And I've heard on this eng this is a problemis this true? I'm just a self machanic so any help would be great.
