Just a word to warn any of you thinking of doing this...
I lost my head gasket (cylinder 6... go figure) and jumped into pulling the heads to get it replaced.
Right side head, pulled with the exhaust manifold. Left side head, left the manifold in place attached to the exhaust pipe. I put the right head back on without the manifold in place. Wish I did. With the A/C hoses in place, it ain't going back on the head. So... lesson learned is that it probably would be better to leave it in the engine bay and remove the head from it like I did on the left side.
Also, the water tube connecting above the water pump, then back behind the intake manifold. That has to be installed before the heads. Whoops. I modified mine a little to get it in there...
