Head lights don’t turn off

I just switched my headlights to cougar LED H11’s but now when I lock my car it doesn’t turn off.

Please help!

Make sure all of your doors actually lock.....could be a failed actuator. If the door doesn’t lock because the actuator is bad the headlights will stay on

If you only press lock once they stay on for a little bit. Try pressing lock 2 times and they should turn off.

You have to hit the lock twice for the headlights to shut off, otherwise they will stay on for 60 (I believe) seconds

If they just won't turn off even with the headlight switch on OFF then you probably have a wiring issue or bad relay

Are they plug and play? Or did you have to wire them to the battery?

When I installed my retrofits (bought them used from a user on here) I initially wired them wrong and the same thing happened. Double check your wiring!

Mine did the same with leds

My 05 SR5 did the same thing with leds. ( Would not turn off remotely or on the timer ) I found leds a poor choice for low beams and switched to hids. Better light and beam pattern and my headlights turn off again.
