Head unit guys...USB placement question.

Can some of you guys post some pics of where you have the rear USB exposed in the cabin? I have the Sony AXV - 150. Looking for ideas where to have the back of the head units USB exposed in the front. Some do the glove compartment, I wasn't to fond of that. I had one of those flush mounted USB cables from the head unit, to the cigarettes lighter hole, iPhone USB from there to phone. It came out so clean but then realized that the cheaper car mount flush cable wasn't supplying enough data to transfer for Carplay to work efficiently. Sucks because it looked almost professional. I'll post some pics of the original install, now looking for suggestion's on a clean look without the flush mounted cable. Thanks in advance.

I routed mine to the console, where I planned to put the iPod. Probably not what you are asking.

my friend made a mount that put the USB in one of the extra rectangular plugs that turned out well in his Mazda, it looks factory, you could probably do something like that if desired.
