head unit suggestion for 2003

Can someone recommend a good SQ hu that will match the interior dash amber color? Looks like a few of you have an Alpine 7897, how do the green buttons look with the amber dash? I am thinking about getting a 2002 alpine 7894 or 7998 + a 4 ch amp or maybe a nakamichi head unit?

I believe most high-end HUs (including Alpine) allow you to select amber or green lighting.

none of the 2003 models can change color to amber permanently anymore. The only one that can do that is the 7998 which came out in 2002, but it's non-amp unit, with a street price of $799 from an authorized B&M dealer.

Really?! Damn, why did Alpine do that? My old above-average Alpine HU was able to do it.

Well, i know that Nakamichi HU's can be ordered in green or amber.
