I found this to be interesting and wanted to share with t4r community

Plug-and-play. Automatically adapt to the automobile models with OBD II (Bus Automatic Diagnostic System) interface.
Display the engine speed, speed, voltage, temperature, fuel consumption and other information on the front windshield of the driver's eye level.
Overspeed warning, more security for driving.
The precise, HD and high-brightness LED display, easy to read information.
The gear shift warning, conductive to new driver learners.

Not as good as you think. My dad had one. It’s garbage. Plus you need to put a sticker on your windshield so it can reflect it.

Anything that has very superimposed graphics in the advertisement is more than likely guaranteed to be shit. Actual HUDs are pretty complicated. they use a very bright light source that is bounced between mirrors, one of those mirrors is curved to make up for distortions. There also has to be a light trap and a glare trap the light hits before reaching the windshield. I don't see all of that being conveniently fit into an iPhone-sized unit that sits on the dash.

My parents had a 1992 (I think) Pontiac Bonneville SSEI with a supercharger and factory HUD. It was pretty cool at the time, but it did get kinda annoying after a while.

HUDs

Have a HUD in my new model Camaro. Love it. would love to have it in my 2021 TRD 4RORP. Use it on the Camaro for tach and speed, not all the other stuff.
Hate having to look down at the dash for speed. Actually put little pieces of colored tape on my T4R speedo to give me a quick look. Green:60, yellow 70, red 80. On the highway rely on cruise.
Have tried a couple dash mounted units and they pretty much suck. Also here in L.A. they’re eye candy for snatch and grab a holes.
Don’t get me wrong, love my T4R, HUD would just be a nice bonus.

I thought about buying one. But the reviews were not very good and all I really wanted to monitor was engine temp.

My ScanGauge does that…
