Headgasket recall, only once?

Hey guys, looking at a 1995 toyota 4runner with a blown headgasket. If it was already taken to the dealership and had it replaced under recall once and since then blew, can it be done by them again? Thanks a lot.

Just went through this trying to get out of doeing it myself. They only fix it under recall once, they will fix it again but your goeing to pay for it. In reality it isn't as bad as it sounds to do though. There is more time in making the carpets blue again in mine than in the mechanical end. Proably a writeup somewhere here.

from what i understand they will do it again because they realize they have a prob with them call your local dealer ....

if you end up doing it yourself its really not to bad just did the top end on mine due to bad head gaskets along with some other stuff that was not right . if you do it yourself Rockauto.com is the place to order your head set from. got my set for 140.00 its a really nice set triple layer headgaskets very nice will hold up a long time the kit was complete with all you will need for complete top end rebuild . headset and timeing belt with shipping was 175 could not beat that price anywhere .
