Hello all.... Headlight screws frozen/stripped how to replace element, without purchasing whole unit, help!!!! stay safe, mjmcdowell

I am in the same situation, all four adjustment screws are so much rusted that they are now impossible to aim.

I lifted my truck and now my headlights are aimed on the

what about those stripped screw head tools

you know those gadgets that drill into the head and form a new hole?

then allow you to back out the entire screw.

the name escapes me-I want to say bolt extractor but that is not correct

Grabit Screw Extractor

I think they are called Grab-it Bits. I bought some for my Brother-in-law a few weeks ago at Lowe's. But I think any of the "big box" hardware stores have them. I think they are about $20. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the idea ... But the problem is not to remove the screw from the assembly, but to turn it whithin the pastic part of the screw.

A picture will be helpfull here :
