like most, my truck's assemblies are old, chipped and peeling inside. what can i use to replace these? i am not getting OE at the tune of $300+ for a pair. i have seen some black ones on ebay with glass lenses. does anyone run these? i don't want to do any project work, rather, remove the old ones and install something in their place. suggestions?

I'd take a cruise to a junkyard. You can find 99+ OEM headlights for $60-80 a pair. Or look for someone parting a truck out. You might send DeathCougar a message and see if he has anything.

no runners in salvage yards where i am, nothing. that would be ideal. even on ebay there isn't anything but junk, faded, discolored, broken light assemblies.
i will ask coug.

I just replaced my '97 Limited with these '99 replacements.

They're made of glass, fit perfectly, and look great. And roughly $82 for the pair; affordable in my mind.

The issue with the aftermarket headlights has always been the beam pattern, not fit or appearance. How are yours?

I have a pair available for sale...
