Headlight housing... how many nuts hold it down?

3 on top and they are exposed, pretty easy to take them off even tho 2 are covered by the plastic piece. the last one you have to un-bolt the fender well, un-bolt it by squeezing the hand inside the fender. i can't explain where it is at, but once you can feel the leg of the housing, then that is the bolt holding it. good luck and let me know if you can't find all 4 bolts.

ok, took some pictures of the beam output tonight and also took some pictures to show you where are the bolts to unscrew to take housing off the truck.
all screws are circle in RED, just letting you know where they exactly located at.
use a flat screw driver to pop these 4 plastic caps off first:
there's 2 bolts on top of the housing, one is behind the black plastic cover:
and this one also is behind the black cover:
ok, the last one is underneath the fender, here has 2 pictures which show you where you have to find it once you can reach behind the fender flare.
and the last, the trim piece under the headlight, you may need to giggle around to loosen it, DON'T force to pull it or you may have chance to break the bracket at the end.
hope this will help you to take out the housing.

Thanks for all your help bro. Those pics helped out alot. I can see where you were unhappy about this mod. With the stock halogen projector, it doesn't spread the light evenly across. It's definately a big step ahead if you consider the stock lighting compared to this. Here are some pics of my finished mod:

nice pictures and nice output!! i always like the laser beam shot by the wall, it looks gorgeous. specially you have fog lights on, it really seperate the white and yellow beam. are you running 6000k?
deng, it's raining in bay area already?? good we haven't seen any rain in Sac yet, at least not this morning,..... yet! hahaha, but i heard it's gonna rain later today.
btw, did you adjust the height or stay where it was from factory? i already messed up my height of the aim, if you are running stock height, did you ever get flashed yet? i am considering to raise my up a bit soon.

let me know when you start not too satisfy with this setup. i know it's gonna be anytime soon. i was about to stop at the mod shield with kit. once you get to that point and you will know what i mean to get retro. hahahaha. since i am the first 06+ 4R retro done by this local retrofitter, he's getting experienced with it and should complete a 06+ 4R headlight in a day! let me know when you are ready at that point, i can give you his contact info. but anyway, have fun with the night time driving, and again, nice pictures with the mod.

I'm running a Mcculloth 5000K kit. I'm happy with it and I like the color since it's not as blue as a 6000K, but yet has no yellow like a 4300K would.
It was raining all night Friday, continuing on to Sat, the whole day. And it better not rain in Sac, cause I'm here Salmon fishing today haha.
As for the hight adjustments.... I didn't touch anything. It looked great right after the install. Although I did have to wipe down the bulbs with alcohol since I got em dirty with my paws. Much better light emmitance after they were clean, compared to being dirty.
I've yet to be flashed, and I dont think I will be. So many people here drive HID equipped cars that I just blend right in.
BTW, I didn't use any aluminum tape for the mod. All I did was bend the tabs back with a lil bit of trial n error.
