Headlight Rotating Question

Hey Guys,

Is there a way to adjust the low beam headlights by 'rotating' them? I'm fully aware of how to adjust them up-and-down as well as adjusting left-to-right, but is there an adjustment for leveling the light output as well? My passenger side low beam is at a 45 degree angle while the driver side is perfectly level. I have checked the bulb and its installed correctly. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance for any help!

There is no rotational adjustment to my knowledge, the head lamps are just one solid unit (both reflectors are connected together, so if you rotate one the other moves too). I am not sure how the 2014 are though :)

I would try swapping bulbs (unless they are the factory bulb). I've once had a shitty aftermarket bulb installed and it completely threw off the aim; after that I stopped using shitty bulbs, lol.

Thanks, eddiebx. I've swapped the bulbs (PIAA's) and it still only does it on the left hand side. It's not a big deal; I was just curious if there was a simple fix for it.

Hmm that's pretty strange though, do you have any pictures of the cutoff against a wall at night? Also do you happen to have a 2014? or 2010-2013? I am not sure how the 2014 headlights are, I've never touched a 2014 up close, maybe the projector might have some extra rotation setting? (doubtful though, :()

If it's a 2014 maybe you could even take it in for warranty? Call me anal, but I would be annoyed, lol.

HaHa! It actually bugs the sh#t out of me - I was just trying to sell myself on it being okay.

It's a 2012, but still under warranty. I will most likely end up calling the dealership if I can't get an adjustment tip from the forum.

is the bulb seated fully on that side? 45 degrees off is a huge difference (and dangerous!).

Did it just start happening out of nowhere? Or did you just recently change the bulbs? If so, try putting the OEM bulb back in on that side and make sure it seats fully.

The PIAA's have been in there for a long time, and are seated fully on both sides. I have switched out the bulbs and it still only does it on the passenger side.

I recently leveled the front of the truck and noticed the angle when I was lowering the lights.

It's looking like I'll just put back the OEM bulbs and take it in to the dealer.

Thanks!
