Headlight switch controlled fog lights

I'm about to wire up a set of fog lights (actually three sets of aux lights but for this discussion I'm keeping things simple).

Anyone see any problems with this setup?

Well I assume if there was anything utterly dumb about my proposed setup someone would have piped up by now. So I'm going to go ahead & wire up my lights per my schematic.

The only thing I noticed is that the fog lights are not fully 'controlled' by the by the parking lights but I assume you just meant that if you have the fog light switch in the 'on' position AND the parking lights turn on or off that the fog lights will mirror the actions of the the parking lights.

Otherwise the wiring is correct.

Yeah I wanted to be sure that my fog lights will turn off as well as my stock lights when I turn off the headlight switch. Got enough things in my life to remember to do already :-P

Update

Its always reassuring to have a second (or even a third) opinion before going ahead with something like this. Thanks guys for checking my wiring plans.

UPDATE: Two of my three sets of aux lights are wired up & working great. The three big lights on my roof are next on my to-do list. Will post pics when done...

A couple of people have asked how I ran the wiring to the roof lights. Short answer is through the third brake light cover. There's already a hole in the roof there, no need to drill another.

I hate the smell or burning wire insulation - I would have added a 15amp fuse between battery and relay.

Oops yeah I guess I forgot to add fuses to my schematic but not to the actual installation. I have fuses all over the place, especially between the battery & relay as you suggested. Fuses are our friends.

Dash Lights how to id size?

Hi Nodd and everybody else. I am trying to figure out how to id the sizes (mm) of the twist and lock bulbs for all of the dash and AC/heat/fan,lcd display and if possible the CD player as well.
I've already found out how to remove the panels to get to the bulbs, but there isn't much to id them except size and photos of the new led bulbs I want to buy on superbrightleds.com.
Thanks to you or anyone who can help me out.
Sean aka LOCOBEAR
PS am taking pics as I do this in case anyone else needs to see how to get to the bulbs.

Probably best to start a new thread. More people will be able to help you. I don't really know otherwise I'd just tell you right here.
