Headlight washer mod

I have a 06 4Runner and I've read some post where people are talking about a headlight washer mod. Can anyone tell me about this?

That's a pretty vague description, but you might be talking about stacking washers underneath the lens mounts to get the correct distance and sharp cutoff when switching standard bulbs to HIDs when keeping the stock projectors. Anyone more knowledgeable, please correct me if that's totally wrong.

I though someone modified a Lexus washer nozzle set-up into their bumpers to spray the headlamps, I was gonna say that'd be impressive.

I was thinking he was talking more along the lines of a headlight washing system similar to the windshield washing system where it would spray washer fluid on your head lights and then wipe clean some how. Some vehicles come standard with this feature. I have no knowledge of anyone on here that has done something like this however it's not something I have looked into either.

It would be useful. My headlights iced over once this winter. I didn't realize it while I was driving, but the ice dispersed the light so all I could see was the snow falling in front of me.
