Headlights in 1997

One of the headlights in my 1997 4runner is cracked. Someone told me I had to replace the whole light for over $200. I was told by someone else that I could replace only the lens for about $50.

Anyone know what the real answer is?

I have never seen just the lens for sale. they sell a new headlight assembly for about $80.00 on eBay. Yor if you really want to spend $200.00 you can upgrade to a pair of 99+ headlights.

Why would I need to upgrade to 99+ if I can get the 97 for the same price, new?

What's needed to make the change over from the 97 to 99+. I figure the headlights in the least. Anything else? I think the 99+ look better.
