i was wondering... if its possible to customize the stock headlights and corners to black housing? and if it would do anything to the lighting at night

if you mean you want the insides black, im pretty sure that will mess up the beam pattern, and if you want the outsides black you can buy black tinted covers to snap on, not legal at night i dont believe. Your best bet is to go with the replacement headlights and corners from JDM

Those are not JDM lights,they are just somebody's custom job and quality would be suspect. 4Runners never came with those lights from Toyota so beware.

those aren't JDM. JDM are orange corners and stock headlights. those are consider as 'euro'. plus, i heard those type of light have bad cut-off compared to stock headlights. the best recommend from me is, take out your original headlights/corners lens and paint them yourself.

yea im aware they arent JDM genius, im saying JDM makes headlights exactly like that i just posted the first ones listed. All they are, are factory lights disassembled and colored then reassembled. Allaidback has them on his 4runner HERE and there are pics of the beam pattern

yea ive heard that too that the beam pattern can be off but its not really that noticable with these
