This isn't a hard job, just time consuming.
I ended up using a hammer drill to loosen my A-pillar screws that hold in the front grab handles but that was the worst of it.
Just go all around the interior removing everything that screws or clips into the headliner: handles, visors, lights, and plastic disc clips in the roof. Unplug the passenger visor power. Remove the moon roof gasket (it just pulls inward from the edges).
I found the plastic trim parts hardest to work with. I loosened every panel/trim piece I could until I could move each out from the top 3-4 inches. That was enough to work the headliner loose one corner then side at a time moving front to back and, and I let it rest on the head rests while I did the other side, then removed the whole thing out the back gate with my daughter's help. Not hard or heavy, just unwieldy.
It went back in the same way in reverse after I replaced my whole sunroof assembly (junk yard, 150 for verified working, glass and all).
If you drop the sunroof assembly out, unclip the drain hoses and loosen the 8 or so bolts that hold it in without fully removing them so you don't suddenly drop one side until you're sure you got all the other bolts. The passenger side on mine was held in additionally by a one way clip I had to destroy to remove, but was only there to aid in factory assembly, holding the passenger side up so bolts could be installed elsewhere. With two people you can still install it without that. I had a kid hold up driver and passenger side each, while I did bolts from inside, then set them free while I tightened things back up.
It probably took me 4 or 5 hours total, because I was going slow, it was hot out, and I got started late in the day and resumed the next morning.
You can do this, even if you have to drop the whole thing out.
