I was wondering how the wiring of a headrest monitor works... I just bought the new Alpine Scion head unit (that has DVD capabilities) to put into my Runner. I know it has two video out RCA cables on the back of the headunit for picture, (that I would assume just plug into the monitors,) but how would they be powered? Anyone with a factory Toyota system with headrest monitors? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

In my Runner the power comes from two seperate circuits both bypassing the ignition with the main power through a switch so I can turn the monitor on and off manually. The standard way is to have one run through the ignition so the monitors turn on and off with the truck key and the other always hot to save the monitor settings.
