Heat issues, digital heater on 01??

What would make my Runner blow nothing but HOT air even when set to something like 72. It seems to to this more and more and seemed to start at the end of this past summer. I noticed my AC just seemed to go out and started blowing nothing but hot air. And for most of the winter the heater has been really hot and only seems to stay at a lower temperature when set to like 72 and shutting the truck off. starting it up the next day the heat will sometimes be cooler at the 72 degree mark. Faulty digital heater finally going? What are the common symptoms. Man am I ready to find a cherry 99 model!! Haha

Thanks Durk, I will try and see if my temp sensor is unplugged or possibly just not working at all. Like I said, all the buttons, lights, and fan speeds seem to work fine. The air is just constantly HOT!!

Run the self-diagnostic. That's what it's for. (Although, temp sensor is a good bet.)
