Depending on how involved you want to get, you can add heated mirrors relatively easily.
I have an '06 SR5 that did not come with factory heated mirrors. I pulled my mirrors, tripped them down completely, painted them to match the body color and reassembled with new heated mirror glass (about $50 each side on Amazon.com). I ran wires back through the doors and connected into the factory wiring. (Yes, the factory wiring for heated mirrors is already in place in the doors for all truck '04 and newer). The mirrors heat when the rear defroster is turned on. You can also wire them separately to a switch if you like.
