Heated Mirrors

I origionally wanted heated signal mirrors on my 4runner and ordered it that way but it of course arrived without them. How big of a deal and is it possable to add them without too much trouble? Depending on what they charge i could have the dealer do it so they would be covered by the warranty.

Your limited should already have heated mirrors. Adding heated signal mirrors would require an aftermarket part addition which most dealers would not install.

That being said, I don't believe the 4runners have the wiring in the door for adding signal mirrors, so an installer would have to splice into the turn signal wiring to add the signal mirrors.

Some do, some don't. There are some threads discussing the prewiring if you want to search for them.
