Heater Blowing COLD

[95Blue4Runner]

it just froze over outside and i could careless except for the fact that i cant defrost my windshield

I have a 95 4runner

the heater is blowing cold air

and i drove it for about 45 min the other night on the highway and off and it still isnt blowing hot. Any suggestions on what i can do to fix this problem. Or should i just take it to the shop?

Did you check your anti-freeze level? I had a similar problem on on old Taurus. All the coolant leaked out and wasn't circulating the engine's heat to the hvac system.
