Heater Control Illumination

I don't have illumination lighting for my heater control unit on the dash. Is there supposed to be illumination here with the headlights on? Seems there should be. I have a 1990 4runner. All other illumination lighting is working correctly.

Yes there is lighting there, your bulb is out.

You have to remove a few parts to get to it but not that hard to do. you can get a new bulb at any autopart store.

Mine went out a few years ago was pretty simple to replace.

Thanks! glad to hear it is any easy fix. I've had the vehicle less than a week. Thus, my first couple of times to this board. Do you remember how to get to the bulb?
