this may be a dumb question but im gonna ask anyways
if u replace the heater/ac control unit from the sr5 with the limited would u be able to get dual climate zones or are the heater systems different on both trucks

I would think not. The limited comes with dual climate controls so you'd have to have the sensor in the passenger side. I would think that Toyota in cost savings measure would not include the sensor. The sensor on the driver's side is right below the steering wheel behind the little "grill" cutout.

I would love Dual controls. This is the last vehicle I buy without them. I am always hot and my wife is always cold. In the middle of the winter I sometimes wear a tee shirt, on a long trip with her. She looks like she is going skiing and I look like I am going to the beach.:bash:

How about adding seat warmers?

Here's another option...add aftermarket seat warmers. I have seen some posts discussing these and they actaully look very nice and function as good or better than the factory ones on the Limited Runners.

I have always had this same issue with my wife she is always cold so she puts on her seat warmer (I never use mine, makes me feel like I pissed my pants) and she cranks up the temp on her side...makes for less fighting over the heater controls :)

And there's always a throw blanket...they even have ones you plug into the cig lighter.

The dual controls and heated seats make traveling with the wife a whole lot easier! After being spoiled I could never go back to regular controls and seats, NEVER!
