I purchased a 2016 4Runner last year, only had 20k miles on it. Previous owner must have lived in a pine tree. There were pine needles EVERYWHERE. Just the other day I remembered I never checked or changed the cabin air filter, so I did and it was CAKED with pine needles and other debris. I’ve always thought the 4Runner left a lot to be desired in the way of cooling, heating and the blower power itself, now I’m wondering if the heater core isn’t caked up with more pine needles. Is there an access port to it that I can vacuum out the box easily or would the dash have to come all apart. Thanks for any help in advance!
