Quick connect/disconnect aux lights
Momo,
Suggest you consider using quick disconnects (the type that have a male and female end in a cover -- better yet, since you wanted them removable, simply use a 4pin trailer connector for your aux lighting so everything is hooked up or disconnected with just one quick plug/unplug. (that'd give you two wires for power and two for ground -- one pair for each housing) Since a trailer connector is relatively weatherproof, it's probably the most sensible choice for a quick disconnect type of plug.
Leave roughly 6-8" leads coming off the lights so when they're hooked up, the wires and plug aren't visible) Also get some wire loom to tuck the wires into for aesthetics and tie wrap the mess out of sight.
