Hella 500s not working...

I cant seem to get my Hella 500s to work...I have the switch on wire tapped to the fusebox to the TURN fuse, and th eLED ont he switch lights up...

The one thing I am Unsure of is the wiring of the Relay...can someone tell me what wire goes to which relay?

You should try hooking the tap up to the cig. lighter/12v source instead of the Turn Fuse. You might draw too much amperage and then you would burn up the turn signal switch.

forgive me if i do not have this correct, but!

switch:
lead from lights (i used parking)
ground
wire to relay

relay:
wire from switch
power from battery
wires to lights
(possible ground)

lights:
wires from relay (one each)
ground (one each)

That is how I have it setup now. The Hella 500s will only come one with the driving lights and if the switch for the lights are turned on. If I turn on the high beams, the Hellas still stay on (illegal).

It's a Westin Safari Grill.

I like it. Does it mount through the grille at all? and did you have to move the license plate?

ETA: does anyone know if there is a skid plate that will work with the safari bar?
