Hello all:
I do not currently own a Runner, but I am planning on trading up very soon. I am looking at the base model 4x2. I have done the off road scene in the past and though it was fun, I have moved on. I will be using the vehicle mostly for commuting, pulling a small RV and dog transport. I do have some accessories left over from my Jeep days and I do plan on installing Shrockworks sliders (they rock).
Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

Well if u haven't already

read thru the 3rd gen guide. Lots of useful background info there, it will probably help u hone in on a particular MY, model and/or features though based on ur needs above I think any would work well-so i think it comes down to which creature comforts do you want (e.g. Base vs SR5 vs Limited).

For me the requirements are simple, reliability followed very closely by off-road capability, then good looks & creature comforts only help from there! Lots of luck and Welcome from Austin, Texas! :banana:
