Hello and suspension question:

Hi there,

Been a 4r driver for a couple years now. Good to see several active forums available for inquiring minds/DIYers. In the last 16 months, I have put on almost 45k miles traveling back and forth for my construction company and this vehicle suits almost every need imaginable. It has been unfailingly reliable, fuel-efficient for what it is and what I ask of it, and largely easy to work on and overbuilt from the factory.

I have a question though about my rear suspension. I'm looking to refurbish my springs before I take my next trip cross-country, (in a week+), and I would like a stiffer ride in back since I usually have 500lbs +/- of tools riding around back there. I have searched extensively and I can't find a load rating for what I have currently, or what might be suitable for my needs. I really just want what would be close to a factory ride/ride height with the weight I usually carry around. Is there possibly a quick answer to this question? (And of course I plan to update the shocks while changing springs).

Thanks for any and all input/direction.

Good day,
