Hello and Thank you

I'm a proud new owner of a 2007 4Runner, pics to come when i take em...it's a black SR5 (leftover) but with a moonroof, 17's, and other stuff, we love it!! I wanted an SUV that would be capable for minor offroading and weekend Island Beach State Park trips (NJ anyone?) and i feel it was the best option.

Some observations:

- i've had 2 explorers in the past and they don't stack up to the 4Runner in any respect: build quality, handling, power, standard options, i could go on as you know...

- I love all the little things toyota adds to even the most basic trim: the ignition engage is awesome, the trunk hatch (button to open and auto close), standard fog lights are great, locking differential which is not common if i'm not mistaken... AND THE WINDOW IN THE BACK GOES DOWN!!!

- Extremely quiet on the road (now it is at least, see below)

Minor Issues but certainly not deal breakers:

- After a couple days i noticed the rear passenger side door was rattling when i would open...the dealer tightened it up and now it's all good.

- I also heard the creaking from the rear passenger seat back but after reading another thread, i used some duct tape to cover the latch and now the creaking is gone (Thanks for the tip everyone).

- It's black, because well, the wife likes black. It was filthy after a few rainy days but she cleans up nice...

So thanks for the tips that i've gleaned from a few days trolling around and don't worry, i'm not a long poster, expect for this one at least...

There should be a TSIB for these noises. The rear pass seat creak just needs a piece of electical tape wraped around the D ring where the latch locks the seat in.
