Hello from Bagdad, AZ!

Hello all! I'm new(er) to this forum. I signed up as soon as I purchased my '04 4Runner. I've always wanted one, and now that I finally do have one, I'm never letting it go. I can't express enough how much I truly love it. I have owned some nice newer vehicles with many more luxories than what my 4runner has and I would choose my 4runner over all of them anyday.

Anywho, I plan on doing some tasteful mods to it (any and all suggestions are more than welcome), and I plan on painting it sometime within the next year and of course upgrading the wheels and tires with something that can be used off-road and as a daily driver. I live in AZ and am hoping to meet some new friends who share the same love for toyota that I do.

I lived in AZ for almost 6 years and know first hand just how awesome of a state it is if you're into off roading.

As for "Tasteful mods" that's entirely up to you and how you want to personalize it. If you plan on hitting a lot of the trails there in AZ, then you might look into a lift, suspension, and of course tires. Since yours is an '04 your best bet it to check out the 4th gen forums and get some ideas of what some of the other folks have done to theirs.

You're right, it's definitely a great state to off-road in! I have icon suspension on it already, but I'm definitely upgrading the tires. I'm looking at Nitto Trail Grapplers. I'm still learning to navigate this site lol I'm going to look for those threads for sure. Thank you!
