Hi
I'm Ian. Bought a 97 in the fall and it's my dd. had to replace the battery and alternator. came with some new 31s. i have the v6 and stick shift. it's great. could use a bit more power. the 31s aren't helping. surprised how good it is off road. i just put it in low range and it happily puts around wherever i want. a lot better offroad than my old silverado.
lots of mods i want to make, but i'm just trying to stay ahead of the dd stuff right now, exhaust leak, no handbrake, power antenna kinda broken, back door doesn't really work. stuff like that. it is comfy to sleep in.
eventually. i'd like a locker and some rock rails. maybe get a decent cd player. mine is weird and ancient.
lot of information on here. i'm looking forward to trying some of the stuff i'm reading. got to take it in for inspection tomorrow, so i'll see how that goes.
